Dodik: I will sign the decree and then I expect them to prosecute me, referendum in RS by the end of the year

(Patria) - RS President Milorad Dodik held a press conference today. The monologue lasted about 45 minutes. He said that RS rejects the decision of Christian Schmidt as High Representative because he was not confirmed by the UN Security Council.

"Schmidt has no legitimacy to be the High Representative, he is part of a deception of the Serbian people that should lead the Serbian people to lose their identity and their state. This is a vile attack to overthrow the government in RS and Serbia and to personalize the blame on presidents Vučić and me. We have a synchronized attack on President Vučić and me. They reason that if they remove one, you will easily remove the other. And then you will get Kosovo and the disappearance of RS", said Dodik.

He called the state of BiH a monstrosity that has been dragging on since the signing of Dayton.

"Unfortunately, in BiH there are others who fight for alleged sovereignty, yet they accept that a foreigner is imposed on them as someone who makes decisions instead of them. What was done yesterday is part of a plan to discipline RS, to make its president a monster, a man with whom one cannot talk. There can be no sovereignty if you are an international protectorate. We are a colony, and we can apply the UN Charter on the fight against colonies", said Dodik.

In a nervous address, he reiterated that they are considering the possibility of suing Schmidt in German courts.

"Foreign agencies very skillfully create discord between Banja Luka and Belgrade. That is why they have now decided to deal with RS", he said, adding that he does not want and will not put Vučić in a position where this "what we are doing in RS" becomes a burden for him.

He said that BiH does not have a government, but a Council of Ministers which is an auxiliary body of the BiH Presidency.

"We in RS have not asked for anything that is not foreseen by the Constitution and prescribed by Dayton. The generators of problems lie in Sarajevo and the embassies of the USA and Great Britain and the EU. We do not dispute the territorial integrity of BiH, and we are not doing so, for now, but we dispute its sovereignty. We have not said that BiH does not have a Constitutional Court, but we want a Law on the Constitutional Court of BiH and that there should be no foreign judges in it", he added.

He emphasizes that he will sign the decree on the promulgation of the Law on Non-application of Decisions of the BiH Constitutional Court, and then he expects to be prosecuted for non-compliance with the decisions of the High Representative.

"I think that RS will very soon pass a law prohibiting the work of the Prosecutor's Office, the Court, and SIPA in RS. That Court, that SIPA have no constitutional basis. RS will continue to apply laws as they are passed", he said.

He also announced a referendum in RS by the end of the year where citizens will express their opinion on the issues of its status and the way forward.

"RS will not tolerate a protectorate. We will preserve peace, and those who think they need to take other measures, that is their problem. NATO and others who beat their chests have no say in political processes. At the moment when the political situation heats up, and it is clearly heading that way, I think they will be on the entity line and prevent conflict. We do not want any conflict", said Dodik.
