Dodik signs decree, violating High Representative Christian Schmidt's decision

(Patria) - President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik has signed the Decree on the Promulgation of the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Publication of Laws and Other Regulations of Republika Srpska.

"The President of Republika Srpska, based on Article 80, paragraph 1, item 4 of the Constitution of Republika Srpska, signed the Decree on the Promulgation of the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Publication of Laws and Other Regulations of Republika Srpska, which was adopted by the National Assembly of Republika Srpska at the Seventh Special Session held on June 21, 2023," the Cabinet of the President of Republika Srpska announced.

In this way, OHR decisions will not be published in the Official Gazette of Republika Srpska, and this also violates the High Representative's decision, which annulled both this law and the Law on the Non-Application of Decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the territory of Republika Srpska.

For now, there is no reaction from the OHR to this move by Milorad Dodik.
