Dodik files criminal charges against Christian Schmidt and Director of the Official Gazette of BiH Dragan Prusina

(Patria) - President of the RS entity Milorad Dodik has filed criminal charges against High Representative Christian Schmidt and Director of the Official Gazette of BiH Dragan Prusina.

"I have filed criminal charges against Christian Schmidt and Dragan Prusina, Director of the Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

I filed a criminal complaint against Schmidt with the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Banja Luka because he has been unofficially performing the duties of the High Representative for a long time, for which he has no decision from the UN Security Council.

With the intention of causing damage to the RS, Schmidt is falsely presenting himself as an official, knowing that he was not appointed in accordance with Annex 10 of the Dayton Peace Agreement.

By doing so, he has committed the criminal offenses of unauthorized practice of a profession and false representation under Articles 310 and 313 of the Criminal Code of the RS," Dodik wrote on Twitter.

Against Prusina, he says, he filed a criminal complaint with the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina "because, as the Director of the Official Gazette of BiH, by knowingly violating the law through his influence, actions, and decisions, he enabled the publication of decisions of the so-called High Representative in the Official Gazette of BiH, resulting in a severe violation of the rights of the RS".

"By doing so, Prusina has committed the criminal offenses of abuse of position and dereliction of duty under Articles 220 and 225 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina," Dodik stated.
