Dodik accuses: SDA and Bakir Izetbegović have stalled BiH

Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik stated that nothing is functioning at the BiH level and that the incompetence of people gathered around SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović is evident at the level of the Federation and at the BiH level, reports the Patria News Agency.

Dodik emphasized that it is obvious that essentially nothing has been done, nor does anything depend on the BiH Council of Ministers.

“We had a good opportunity in previous years to do what was asked of us on the path to the EU, but the main brakes were from the SDA, Bosniaks, and Bakir Izetbegović. Everything has been stalled and stuck, and today we have only received a bigger basket that is increasingly difficult to fill,” Dodik told “Glas Srpske”.

Dodik said that an answer should have been offered to two questions, namely Sejdić and Finci and the coordination mechanism, and that this part of the movement towards the EU should have been completed and a credible membership application submitted.

According to him, Republika Srpska offered answers, supported the EU's demands, and there were no problems from its side.

“The main brakes were the SDA and Bakir Izetbegović, who did not want to reach an agreement with the Croats and ensure their visibility as a constituent people in these and all processes,” explained the President of Srpska.

It is evident that nothing has been done from what they promised when they formed the government at the BiH level, Dodik noted.
