Dodik again attacks CEC: There were more complaints for Mostar than for Doboj and Srebrenica combined

(Patria) - Milorad Dodik held a press conference today where he said that the SNSD and its partners are ready for the elections on February 21 to be held in Doboj and Srebrenica, after the Central Election Commission annulled the election results due to established irregularities.

Dodik could not avoid accusations against the CEC even today, stating that the decision was made "in collusion with the opposition from the RS and the authorities at the level of the Federation of BiH."

"The Bosniaks were keen to problematize Srebrenica, and then those from the SDS and PDP agreed to vote but on the condition that Doboj be included as well, because how else to explain the fact that there were far more complaints in Mostar than in Doboj and Srebrenica combined, yet Mostar was accepted as legitimately held elections," Dodik said.

He emphasized that he had agreed with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić that a part of medical workers from the RS can be vaccinated in Serbia.

"By Friday, we conducted a survey of healthcare workers; 2,100 of them stated they want to receive the vaccine, and this will be possible in three centers: Belgrade, Loznica, Mitrovica. The remaining number, up to 5,000, will be offered to healthcare workers employed in private gerontology centers and dental clinics. I am grateful for the opportunity for 5,000 people to receive both the first and second doses of the vaccine," Dodik said.

Today, he again spoke about the Office of the High Representative and repeated that Valentin Inzko is "a ruin present here, a man with no reputation."

"We are in a position to believe that there should be no new High Representative and that the OHR office should be closed. We welcome Moscow's clear stance to close the office, and thus the position on all speculations about an agreement between Moscow and Germany on the selection of a new High Representative is clear," said the SNSD president.

Speaking about the new U.S. administration, Dodik emphasized that he will continue to work with the European Union to "build BiH as a unitary and centralized country."

"Our response must be very clear: we do not accept such goals and policies; we demand respect for Dayton. The expectations raised to the highest level by the Bosniaks are unrealistic, and regardless of the constant statements about Germany and America and the well-known conversation (Biden-Merkel on the Western Balkans), I do not believe they managed to agree on anything."

The SNSD caucus will propose to the RS National Assembly a new Law on the Origin of Assets and a Law on Taxes to be paid on the basis of determined illegal assets, followed by criminal prosecution in accordance with the laws.

"The entire intention of this law is that anyone found to have acquired assets illegally must declare their income and prove its origin," Dodik said.
