Dodik on Schmidt's announcements of new impositions: If he does that, Republika Srpska will form an election commission and hold local elections

(Patria) - The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, today, during his address in front of the Court of BiH, after another postponed hearing, threatened to form an entity election commission if the High Representative in BiH Christian Schmidt imposes changes to the Election Law.

Dodik also touched upon the High Representative in BiH Christian Schmidt's announcements yesterday that, if political representatives in BiH do not agree on this issue, he will impose changes to the election law concerning the integrity of the election process.

Dodik reacted strongly to this announcement, threatening that if Schmidt imposes this decision, Republika Srpska will form its own election commission which will conduct the local elections in that entity.

"If he does that, then we will form an election commission and hold local elections. So what then?", Dodik threatened.
