Dodik: They Found a Muslim Prosecutor for the Indictment; As the Process Goes, So Will BiH Fall; Behind This Stands Meddler Murphy

(Patria) - SNSD and RS President Milorad Dodik spoke at today's extraordinary press conference about the indictment that has been forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.

"This is shameful, an endangerment of the sovereignty for which many are fighting in BiH. This is political violence, this is force behind which stands the American ambassador, a man who every day thinks about what he will do against the RS, devising Serbophobia. The prosecutor is of Muslim nationality. Here they found a lackey from the Bosniak people, a Muslim. The extra-legal action is reflected in the fact that there is no law under which they are pursuing us," said Dodik.

He said the indictment was written over days, with the assistance and creation of the American ambassador.

"Only the American embassy and the non-existent OHR office have commented. I had no need to refer to the laws passed by that Schmidt. I signed the decree and I will always do so when the RSNA passes a law. Am I more convinced in what I am doing? Yes. This is an attempt to create a subservient structure dictated by the US Embassy to bring in suitable Serbs. The BiH Prosecutor's Office has no constitutional basis; it is not in accordance with the BiH Constitution," he said.

He confirmed that he will respond to any summons he might receive.

"The Court has more sense; it is shameful that we have such prosecutors. Usually the Prosecutor's Office boasts about its expertise. That sycophantic prosecutor is ready to do what he does to make Bećirović happy. That law under which they incriminate me does not exist. Schmidt does not exist, the High Representative does not exist. Half of BiH does not recognize that fact, one third in political terms. It does not accept those meddlings done by the American ambassador. I called some ambassador friends from Western countries; they told me they cannot stand the sight of him and that he has ruined any unity of the Western world."

He added that this is political persecution, an attempt to turn us into lackeys, and I am ready for any kind of legitimate struggle.

"I will raise the issue of abuse of official position against this prosecutor. It is unbelievable that he accepted to undermine the BiH Constitution. The prosecutor decided to act in accordance with the demands of the bazaar, without questioning where this law comes from, bowing to the will of foreigners.
I was not elected here to have an easy term. I am constantly under pressure from various stories of crime, corruption. The courts have acquitted me. I have never been convicted of anything.
Then they found this shameful story of disrespecting Schmidt's decisions. Which decisions? Even if he were a legal High Representative, he cannot do that," he said.

Dodik took the opportunity to announce that he will open the topic of the judiciary with the partners with whom he forms the government.

"The Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH are not constitutional categories. Our policies will no longer be publicly announced, but they will be implemented. Everything we have done, we have done based on the RS Constitution. The moment the RSNA passed that law and when I had to sign the decree, I did it. No veto was raised against that law by the Bosniaks. I waited for the House of Peoples to decide on it. I expected the Bosniaks to raise a veto. Formally and legally, they had no objections to that law. The RS will continue its political and legal struggle. Several important decisions await us, and they will be in the interest of the RS, and will not endanger the BiH Constitution and the Dayton Peace Agreement," he added.

He emphasized that "even this sycophantic prosecutor could not find the overthrow of the constitutional order."

"I will homogenize the Serbian people and the RS to the maximum. I am glad that the SDS was with us and that this is the dominant majority of the Serbian people. If the Court decides to confirm this, then it is a farce and would be part of this Serbophobia that is being created. If I appear there, I will not take any per diem. If I had wanted to defend Milorad Dodik, I would have given up long ago and lived comfortably. Because of the president of the republic, I endangered Milorad Dodik. They are very mistaken if they think the RS will remain immune to this. All this is a story about property. I call on the people to gather around the president of the RS, not Milorad Dodik. The key issue here is property. They found Schmidt, who is trying to impose a framework in which the law will state that all property belongs to the state and that it gives that property to municipalities, and then there is no republic.

I have no intention of playing the hero in any way. Politically, it looks good to me; legally, those who need to do something will be in trouble. Humanly speaking, how we have fallen in BiH. How do you think we should continue? How is it possible that Muslims think that punishing Serbs leads to the survival of BiH? As this process goes, so will BiH fall. The RS has decided many things through its parliamentary decisions, but for pragmatic reasons, because the war in Ukraine has enraged Western powers, we will decide when to activate them."

He announced that on August 22, he will appear at the session of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly and finish what was agreed with partners.

"This is just a good opportunity to talk about the judiciary. One of the conditions is that the BiH Parliamentary Assembly abolishes anyone imposing laws. We will support the adoption of the laws on the HJPC, the ombudsman, access to information, and then we will establish working groups that will work on the law on courts, as well as the law on the Constitutional Court of BiH. And that the reform of the election law be completed by October. I am ready to respect that timeline.

If the president of the RS is attacked, then the entire society is attacked. I will defend myself alone. I am trying to turn this into an advantage, and I will do it. Enough of these Americans, who do you think you are? Do you think people here are empty-headed? BiH is not as those from Sarajevo perceive it. You will never get a Republic of BiH; there is no Serb who would agree to that. I have no intention of giving up the political struggle, but we will no longer reveal what we will do," Dodik concluded.

He accused Great Britain of sending millions of pounds to overthrow Dodik, and that several media outlets are involved in this.
