Dodik attacked Konaković: At whose expense was he in the US, he is not our minister, he is stupid if he reduces everything to Russia

(Patria) - SNSD President Milorad Dodik held a press conference today after the SNSD Executive Board session, ahead of tomorrow's Assembly where the party president and other bodies will be elected. The only candidate for SNSD president is Milorad Dodik.

"Tomorrow, through the assembly, we will present all documents. All of this is in the function of our adaptation to complex political action. The main goal of our political struggle is to resolve the issue of the Constitutional Court of BiH. We are ready and talking with partners at the BiH level. No law will be adopted in the BiH Parliament until the issue of the Constitutional Court is resolved," Dodik said.

He called on partners to harmonize all laws, but stressed that the issue of Constitutional Court judges must be resolved.

When asked about some statements by Elmedin Konaković, Dodik said that "he (Konaković, editor's note) should settle accounts with the RS.

"But I didn't know he was so stupid to reduce everything to Russia. Not even Tito allowed himself to go to America for 20 days and parade around the world while leaving unresolved problems here. It would be interesting to see where he was, what he was doing, and at whose expense. Over 20 days in America. And there he makes remarks and says everything negative about the RS, trying to present it as a problem, which shows that he has abandoned the policy of joint action, that he is violating political consensus on some issues," said Dodik.

He stated that when listening to Konaković in public, one gets the impression that he is 'full of advocating for dialogue and respect'.

"But when he is alone, his rhetoric is no different from Bisera Turković's rhetoric. I must tell him that we have achieved the goals we wanted. And if he thinks he can impose a worse situation for the RS, let him continue. He is no longer our joint Minister of Foreign Affairs, with what he is doing around the world, how he slanders, belittles, and complains. This is unacceptable, especially when you go to the international scene, you must represent common positions," stated Dodik.

He also commented on Konaković's statement that Christian Schmidt is legitimate and has all the necessary papers to be in BiH.

"He knows that he was not appointed by the body stipulated in Annex 10. How many times do we have to say that? Konaković is not implementing the policy of partners at the BiH level, but his own and that of the foreigners here. We will wait and see, okay. The RS has the right to pass its own laws, the law on the work of non-governmental organizations is literally a copied law from the USA, slightly softened because they "cut heads" in a political sense. We will continue with our legislative activities," emphasized Dodik.

Then he said he knew why Konaković was doing this.

"Konaković is saying this because we have an agreement to have the law on the Constitutional Court on the agenda in September and to eliminate foreign judges, and he needs this now to remove it from the agenda. He needs foreigners to settle accounts with the RS, because they don't have much strength. Just like they don't, Konaković doesn't have strength. He presents himself as Mother Teresa, but he is actually a type who implements insidious Bosniak policy," said Dodik.
