Dodik after ruling coalition meeting: We didn't agree on anything concrete, as it wasn't possible to agree

(Patria) - We didn't agree on anything concrete, as it wasn't possible to agree, stated the President of Republika Srpska and SNSD Milorad Dodik to the media tonight, after the ruling coalition meeting at the BiH level, held in the BiH institutions building in Sarajevo.

Dodik was the first to address the media, and his partners from the Federation of BiH, as he said, remained upstairs to resolve something, and would address the media later.

He emphasized that the meeting with the delegations of HDZ BiH and the Troika remained unfinished, and that the talks would continue in the next seven days.

They discussed, he explained, previously agreed upon but unfinished issues. There was also talk, Dodik clarified, about the Election Law of BiH, the amendments to which are unacceptable for Republika Srpska.

When it comes to the Central Election Commission (CEC) of BiH, he reminds that there was a previous agreement on changing its composition.

- Today we emphasized that issue. It is obvious that the CEC of BiH can be formally and legally changed.

This meeting, to tell you the truth, remained unfinished, so we need to continue discussing these topics again in the next seven days - Dodik added.

He stated that they will seek accountability from the BiH Ambassador to the United Nations, Zlatko Lagumdžija, who, according to Dodik, "initiated the issue of the Resolution without any suggestion".

- We demand his accountability. This is an issue that will have to be discussed. After the eventual adoption of the Resolution, many things will be difficult to agree upon - Dodik stated.

The media were also addressed by the leader of United Srpska, Nenad Stevandić, and the Vice-President of SNSD and member of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović.

Stevandić said that five meetings were held, which showed that the ruling party from Republika Srpska has no partners at the BiH level.

Cvijanović added that parties that seriously want to govern must have political potential.

- We are at a deficit because we do not have partners who can function like that - Cvijanović added.
