Dodik: Minimum wage in RS by pay grades 900, 1,000, and 1,300 KM

(Patria) - President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said at today's press conference that three minimum wage grades will be introduced in this BiH entity, of 900 KM, 1,000, and 1,300 KM.

- We will have three models - 900 marks for the simplest jobs, 1,000 for high school graduates, and 1,300 KM for university graduates. Everything is aimed at having an average salary of 2,000 KM in 2026 - Dodik stated at the press conference.

He says they have harmonized pensions by six percent.

- And from September, we will increase the additional pension by three percent. We will provide free spa treatments for seven days for 4,000 pensioners. I will allocate one million from my budget for these pensioners - said Dodik.

He stated that the salaries of all budget users will be increased by 10 percent from April.

- As for the police, it will be increased by 30 percent from April. And for that alone, we need to secure 58 million KM. For public administration 17.6 million, in healthcare 53 million - Dodik emphasized.

He says that 20 million KM will be allocated from the president's budget for the construction of kindergartens throughout RS.

- To ensure that every child has the opportunity to attend kindergarten. These 20 million will be allocated based on municipal requests, but it will be very rigorous. They will have to provide all the papers and projects - Dodik stated.
