Dodik categorically stated: No place for SDA in the RS government

President of Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik stated that a session of the Collegium will be scheduled within the next two to three days, followed by the constitutive session of the RS National Assembly, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

"After I take the oath, I have the right to propose a mandate-holder, and that will happen very quickly," Dodik told Srna, emphasizing that the SNSD-DNS-SP coalition is stable and there is no doubt that this coalition holds 42 parliamentary seats.

He added that talks continue with "some deputies who are on the other side of the political spectrum," which will show that the future parliamentary majority has more than 42 deputies.

"The government will also be formed; we need to adopt the budget, continue talks about the Russian loan, which we should receive in the coming months because the Russians were also waiting for the development of the situation here, and that is why it is important for the RS to be stable," Dodik said.

He stressed that in the concept of government in the RS, there is no place for the SDA, because they demanded four ministerial positions, and it could be dramatic for the RS if the SDS gave them three mandates.

Dodik emphasized that if, hypothetically speaking, the SDS tried to form a new government with the SDA, that government would work against the interests of the RS, which he would not allow.

"I would not allow the formation of such a government, because it is not in the interest of the RS, its citizens, and the Serbian people," Dodik said, stressing that it would also be shown that such a government could not function and would have to be dissolved very quickly.
