Dodik: In response to the Srebrenica Resolution, Republika Srpska will initiate the process of its independence

(Patria) - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik stated today that the smaller BiH entity will initiate the process of its independence in response to the Resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica.

- I am proud of the determination to implement these measures regarding independence - Dodik emphasized at a press conference.

He also assessed that the "elite of Bosnian Muslims has scored a serious own goal with the Srebrenica Resolution".

- The elite of Bosnian Muslims has destroyed the complete structure and functioning of the international sector in BiH.

The genocide in Srebrenica did not happen; if it had, there would be no need to constantly impose this topic. The courts that ruled, those convictions refer to individuals, not to the people.

Genocide is a fabrication that will tear us apart. They are trying to force us to stay, despite the fact that they are slandering us. They want to make Srebrenica a synonym for genocide, and it is still unknown how many actually died - Dodik asserted.

He also claims that Republika Srpska is "stable and capable of protecting itself from all attacks".

- There will be no talks about accepting the so-called Srebrenica Resolution. Peaceful separation is the only solution for all peoples in BiH. The Central Election Commission of BiH has usurped competencies that belong to Republika Srpska. The Election Law of Republika Srpska is in accordance with the Constitution - Dodik added.

He called on the citizens of Republika Srpska to attend the popular rally "Srpska Calls", which will be held on Thursday in Banja Luka's Krajina Square, starting at 6 PM.
