Dodik outlines scenario: RS will annul or withdraw from all reforms

(Patria) - RS President Milorad Dodik is of the opinion that the only correct constitutional and legal scenario is for the proceedings against him in the BiH Court to be terminated or for an acquittal. Otherwise, decisions will be made at the highest RS bodies, as he says, in accordance with the Dayton Peace Agreement.

- If it is anything else, it is pure political persecution and we will respond with political decisions. This implies making decisions at the highest bodies of Republika Srpska, as agreed in recent days at various levels, and we will exclusively return to the Dayton Agreement - said Dodik.

He stated that RS will annul or withdraw from all reforms, which he says were "imposed sometimes from the EU, and sometimes from other centers".

- This means that Republika Srpska will cancel any presence of the court and prosecutor's office, SIPA, and other artificial and unconstitutionally imposed bodies at the BiH level, ban their work in the territory of Republika Srpska, adopt its own election law, and do everything to return the competencies, 83 of them, to their constitutional position, the BiH Constitution - said Dodik.

Dodik says that RS is defending the BiH Constitution and that in this regard all violations that have occurred over 25 years will be reviewed and called into question.

Answering the question of whether he expects unrest, he said that RS will remain peaceful.

- Republika Srpska will remain peaceful, it will act in accordance with the laws. All decisions will be made at the level of the RS Parliament, and it is possible at some stage to hold a referendum on all of this - emphasized Dodik.

According to him, this is all "that they are afraid of in Sarajevo."

- I can only say that I am conveying the will of the political leadership of Republika Srpska, so we cannot remain silent and we cannot do otherwise than respond to this political process, which is shameful, inadmissible, unconstitutional, and anti-Dayton - he said.

Dodik stated that even if they ban him from political activity, he will continue to engage in politics.

- So, nothing will happen, Milorad Dodik will remain here, he will remain the president of the Republic, even if they ban political work, I will continue to engage in politics - said Dodik.
