Dodik appointed Cvijanović as prime minister-designate, "Domovina" has not yet given its answer

Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik appointed Željka Cvijanović as prime minister-designate for the formation of the new Government of Republika Srpska at a press conference in Banja Luka today, writes the BH news agency Patria.

Željka Cvijanović has led the Government of Republika Srpska for the past year and a half, and will now have the opportunity to continue the work she started. Cvijanović is one of Dodik's closest associates, and as Patria has already written, her appointment being announced publicly today is not a surprise at all.

The new Government of RS will not include personnel from NDP, PDP, and SRS, who refused to attend consultations, but will consist of representatives of SNSD and DNS, along with two "turncoats" from NDP and PUP. Whether the "Domovina" coalition will accept Dodik's offer and take a certain number of ministerial positions that, according to the Constitution of RS, belong to the Bosniak and Croat peoples, could be known as early as today.

If "Domovina" rejects the offer, which has already led to harsh words between DF and SDA, then these positions will be filled, as before, by Dodik's "pocket Bosniaks and Croats".
