Dodik and his home guards will be most responsible for poisoning residents of Trgovska Gora

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - For Staša Košarac and his party boss, Pelješac was a Serbian national interest, while Trgovska Gora is not - stated Mladen Šumar, member of the Executive Board of the Serbian Democratic Party, reacting to Staša Košarac's statements. 

“Mr. Košarac, the problem of Trgovska Gora is not about lighting cigars in Sarajevo pubs, but a serious issue upon which the health and lives of the inhabitants in the northwest of Republika Srpska and BiH depend, which you are not up to” – Šumar conveyed.

He emphasized that Staša Košarac did admit yesterday that, although 14 months have passed since the appointment of the expert and legal team, funds for their work have not yet been secured, and that the competent institutions have done nothing concrete regarding the disposal of radioactive waste at Trgovska Gora. 

“As a reminder, Košarac was in Novi Grad in June 2020, and citizens only remember from that visit that he spent 750.00 KM on food and drinks at the expense of the municipality. Everything he promised then remained a dead letter on paper, but for his inaction, false promises, and arrogance, he received the Golden Plaque of the Municipality of Novi Grad,” stated the member of the SDS Executive Board. 

The only thing you have done as authorities in the last 14 months, Šumar says, is to form an Expert and Legal Team whose hands you tied by not providing the necessary funds for their work and by appointing a Croatian citizen as the head of the legal team, thereby consciously participating in the sabotage of this body's work.

“Obstruction of work is still in effect, and as long as the Presidency of BiH does not take over the competencies from the Council of Ministers and initiate concrete legal actions by BiH against the Republic of Croatia, Milorad Dodik and his home guards will be most responsible for the consequences to the health, lives, and survival of 250,000 inhabitants in the northwest of BiH,” Šumar concluded.
