Dodik and Javor declared victory, rakija, music, and song at SNSD election headquarters in Prijedor

(Patria) - Although the first preliminary results from the Central Election Commission are still awaited, SNSD has already declared Slobodan Javor the winner in Prijedor in the early elections for mayor. The early elections in Prijedor were called after Dalibor Pavlović resigned from this position on October 11th, following the publication of his photos in which he was seen taking various pills. Pavlović was also present at the Election Headquarters tonight.

The President of SNSD, Milorad Dodik, also came to the SNSD election headquarters celebration before 8 PM, bringing a bottle of rakija to the winner.

According to party data, SNSD candidate Slobodan Javor has 54.84 percent of the votes, and Goran Predojević of the coalition "For Our Prijedor – DNS, SDS, and PDP" has 36.94 percent, according to data from the coalition's election headquarters based on a quarter of the counted votes. Independent candidate Slađana Radaković won 2.98 percent of the votes, and all other 11 candidates won 3.11 percent.

"There is room for everyone in our city," said Slobodan Javor.

"This is just a confirmation of the policy we have pursued and are pursuing. This is an answer to those who wanted to amputate SNSD," said Dodik.

He thanked Nenad Nešić, the leader of DNS, for his congratulations.
