(Patria) - Suspect and President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik voluntarily appeared before the BiH Prosecutor's Office today, accompanied by his lawyer, for questioning as a suspect in the investigation due to the existence of reasonable suspicion that he has committed the criminal offense of Attack on the Constitutional Order from Article 156, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code (CC) of BiH.
On the same day, acting on the proposal of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, he was brought before the BiH Court, and a hearing was held at which the BiH Court issued a decision accepting the proposal of the BiH Prosecutor's Office and lifting the detention of suspect Milorad Dodik, given that it was determined that the reasons for which it was previously imposed no longer exist.
At the same time, he was imposed a measure of mandatory periodic reporting to a state authority.
The imposed measure may last as long as it is necessary or until a different decision by the Court.
The justification for the duration of the imposed measure will be reviewed every two months.
The suspect was specifically warned that detention may be imposed if he violates the obligations of the imposed measure, it was stated in a joint press release from the Court and the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
