(Patria) - Member of the Presidency of BiH Milorad Dodik is expected to travel to Ankara today where he will discuss the current situation in BiH with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
In the coming days, the other two members, Željko Komšić and Šefik Džaferović, could also meet with Erdogan. Dodik said he wants to explain the situation in BiH to Erdogan, not just listen to the "whiny politics of Bakir Izetbegović".
The Turkish president announced these meetings in a conversation with organizations around which citizens of Bosnian origin are gathered.
Dodik assessed that Erdogan is a man who is not prepared to do anything in BiH that would be harmful to Serbs and Croats.
- He is always for agreement, and that is why I have confidence. That is why I am going to Turkey to explain the situation to him further, and not to behave like Bakir Izetbegović, who does not want dialogue," Dodik added.
Dodik emphasized that he respects Erdogan, that he believes in his objectivity, and that he will initiate a conversation again at the meeting, and that he hopes Erdogan will support it.
