Dodik: Had it not been for the Russians, no one would have reacted in BiH

An extraordinary session of the Peace Implementation Council (PIC) was convened thanks to the Russian Ambassador to BiH, Petar Ivancov. It is obvious that they would not have reacted at all if he had not done so, stated the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, reports Patria.

He also told the Russian Sputnik that Russia had always been correct and committed to the act of the Dayton Agreement, while all other members (PIC) had behaved arrogantly, mostly towards RS.

Dodik says that no one is for the endangerment of peace and stability in BiH, but that it is impossible to accept the practice initiated by Bakir Izetbegović and that such a practice will have consequences.

"We are not against discussions, but our discussion about the functioning of BiH institutions will have to include several important issues in the future, and it is not only a matter of revision and unilateral decision-making in BiH, but also the issue of the presence of foreign judges in the Constitutional Court.

It is also the issue of imposing solutions by the High Representative, and even the presence of the High Representative himself in BiH. If we put these issues on the agenda and there are adequate answers and agreements with Bosniaks, then it is certainly possible to continue functioning. But no one should expect us to easily overcome this and withdraw from our positions," Dodik said.
