(Patria) - Milorad Dodik does not cease his public polemics about the BiH Constitution, BiH, and entities within BiH. Today, he reiterated that "BiH has no sovereignty because it is a protectorate managed by foreigners imposing laws".
"This concerns the provisions of the Constitution, and the Bosniak member of the Presidency, Denis Bećirović, is constantly manipulating and deceiving, as he does not quote the articles of the Constitution as they are written, but only individual parts. When he speaks of the continuity of BiH, the Constitution clearly states 'that it continues its legal existence in accordance with international law as a state, with an internal structure modified according to the provisions contained herein'.
More precisely, all its continuity according to the Dayton Constitution is reduced exclusively to three limited points of continuity: the name 'Bosnia and Herzegovina', internationally recognized borders, and membership in the United Nations.
He pointed out that Bećirović persistently avoids quoting the article that says: 'BiH consists of two entities, the Federation of BiH and Republika Srpska'. And then Dodik decided to interpret the BiH Constitution as it suits him, and he again turned the word 'consists' into 'composed'.
"Of course, Bećirović knows this, but with manipulations, he is trying to hide the fact that BiH was composed only in Dayton, and from two entities and the Brčko District as co-ownership of these two entities. Republika Srpska or the Federation of BiH were not established in Dayton, because they existed before as a political and legal fact, with sovereign power in their territory, and were recognized by the international community. 'Bosnia and Herzegovina' did not exist, so it was only established in Dayton as a state composed of state-forming entities through an international agreement," stated Dodik.
He stated that this confirmed the sovereignty and legitimacy of Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH, as well as the disappearance of 'Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina'.
"Only 'Bosnia and Herzegovina' remained, to live as a geographical term with internationally recognized borders," concluded Dodik.
