Good performances in Mostar's Student: Ismet Sejfić hopes for a call-up from coach Duško Ivanović

Mostar's Student has caused another sensation, defeating the runner-up team of Široki Brijeg 86:77 on their home court. In this match too, the best player for Mostar was the twenty-two-year-old center of Student, Ismet Sejfić, who was an unsolvable enigma for the team from Široki Brijeg, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

The phenomenal Sejfić scored 25 points and had 10 rebounds. In previous matches, the excellent center, who is 206 centimeters tall and weighs 125 kilograms, has been playing in career-best form. Namely, in the away game in the previous round against Građanski in Bijeljina, he scored 23 points and had 15 rebounds; in the Mostar derby against Zrinjski, he scored 20 points with 16 rebounds. Before that, in an away game against Spars, he shone with 34 points and a perfect shooting percentage from the field (14/14) and the free-throw line (6/6).

- I am very happy after the great victory over Široki. We worked hard and prepared for that big match, and in the end, we deservedly celebrated. I hope my performances will not go unnoticed and that I will be on the wider list of coach Duško Ivanović for the next gathering. I just want an opportunity to show how much I'm worth, and I think I've earned it with my performances in the Student jersey. Bosnia is my homeland, and the national team jersey is sacred to me – says Sejfić.

Sejfić was considered one of the greatest talents in Turkey a few years ago. As a teenager, he left his hometown of Prozor for Turkey and was also part of Fenerbahče's youth academy. From Izmir, he first moved to Lithuania's Dzūkija, and since this season, he has been a member of the Mostar team.
