Doboj East: Bridge over Spreča threatened, replanted crops destroyed again!

The area of the Doboj East municipality is once again in trouble, writes the Patria news agency (NAP). Namely, due to heavy rainfall, the river Spreča has overflowed its banks, and also local smaller rivers are threatening to overflow.

Agricultural land where corn replanting had been carried out after the May floods has been flooded. The water level is rising, and the prefabricated bridge over the river Spreča, which connects the Doboj East municipality area with the returnee settlement of Suho Polje and other surrounding places, is also threatened.

Members of the Civil Protection are on the ground, as are local residents who are trying to save what can be saved. This situation will further complicate the lives of returnees, and local residents can hardly overcome the new situation on their own without state assistance, writes NAP.
