Majority in RS will not be known until the vote itself, Čović's response depends on it

All MPs from the DNS list, including MPs from Adam Šukalo's "Napredna Srpska" party and Dragan Đurđević's SRS, will sign a statement on unified performance in the National Assembly of RS, which will be submitted to the head of this party, Marko Pavić, before negotiations on forming a parliamentary majority, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

This makes a total of eight MPs, who, with SNSD's 29 and SP's five, form a narrow parliamentary majority of 42 MPs.

However, according to Patria's sources, it is still unknown in Republika Srpska who truly has this narrow majority. If the "Domovina" Coalition with five MPs joins the Alliance, which has 36 in total, they will only need one more MP to be the ones forming the legislative power.

As our interlocutor, directly involved in all negotiation processes, explains, on the day of the vote, i.e., the constitutive session that will be convened by the new-old President of RS, Milorad Dodik, it will not be known who will hold power in RS.

And who holds power will determine the fate of the Principles of Action at the state level, which were signed in Sarajevo on November 9 by SDA, DF, and the Alliance for Change, i.e., the response of HDZ BiH leader Dragan Čović, who stated that he would accept as a partner whoever establishes power in RS, and that Dodik had firmly promised him that he indeed had the majority.

On Saturday, November 15, delegations of SDA and HDZ BiH will meet in Sarajevo to discuss the signed principles, i.e., the conditions under which HDZ BiH would accept what has already been agreed upon and signed.
