So far, 100 tons of "Moja mama" pasta produced in Klas's facility in Srebrenica

Among the successful business stories from the Srebrenica municipality area, presented during the investment and development conference "Srebrenica 2015", was a pasta production facility of the food industry Klas d.d. Sarajevo. The facility was opened in July 2014, and so far nearly 100 tons of pasta „Moja mama“ have been produced, the Patria news agency reports.

- This socially responsible project of Klas provides a livelihood for four families from Srebrenica, and was realized at the proposal of the Association „Women of Srebrenica“ and in cooperation with the Srebrenica Municipality. Klas has been producing large quantities of pasta in its Sarajevo facility for 67 years. We have the brand, technology, knowledge, and experience, so the facility in Srebrenica is a symbolic addition to the pasta supply for the domestic market. The pasta „Moja mama“ is available at most retail outlets throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is recording solid sales results - said Irmela Cero during the presentation at the investment and development conference in Srebrenica.

AS GROUP, of which the company Klas is a part, wants to help Srebrenica in the way it can - by starting production and opening new jobs. In this context, there is serious interest in cooperation with agricultural producers, primarily buckwheat producers. Klas needs about 100 tons of buckwheat annually.

The first day of the investment and development conference "Srebrenica 2015" was attended by the owner of AS Group, Sulejman Hrvić, and the director of Klas, Rusmir Hrvić, thereby showing support for the conference whose goal was to address the most important economic and social issues of the citizens of Srebrenica.
