By 2050, BiH will lose 19% of its population

In a United Nations report that was published, by 2050 BiH will lose 19.5% of its population, Serbia 17%, Croatia 16.2%, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

At the top of the list are mostly European countries with more than 15% Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Moldova, Lithuania, Hungary, but also Japan.

According to the report, in the period from 2015 to 2050, there will be 63 million more deaths than births, as well as 31 million migrants.

Europe also has another problem, and that is that 24% of the population is over 60 years old, and this share will reach 34% by 2050.

The world's population is growing, reaching 7.3 billion in 2015, which means it has increased by almost a billion in the last 12 years.

The population growth rate has decreased from 1.24 percent annually in 2005 to 1.18 percent in 2015.

Africa has the highest population growth rate of 2.55% annually.
