By 11:00, 1,681 voters or 16.8 percent had cast their ballots

(Patria) - At today's repeated elections in Srebrenica, by 11:00 a.m., 1,681 voters or 16.8 percent of the total 10,002 registered in the electoral roll had cast their ballots, Srna was told by a member of the Municipal Election Commission, Nada Zorić.

She said that the election process is proceeding without problems and that so far there have been no objections to the voting process, and noted that supervisors from the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina and party observers are present at all 26 polling stations.

Elections are also being repeated at two polling stations for absentee voting for Srebrenica in Živinice, where 330 voters are registered, and in Gradačac, where 105 voters are registered.

The ballot for the election of the mayor of the Srebrenica municipality includes four candidates representing four certified political entities (two independent candidates, one coalition, and one political party), while the ballot for the Srebrenica Municipal Assembly includes candidates from 27 political entities.

Polling stations in Srebrenica will be open until 7:00 p.m., until which time the pre-election silence is in effect. The next turnout report is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.

The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina annulled the results of the November elections at 26 out of 29 polling stations in Srebrenica, as well as at absentee polling stations for Srebrenica in Živinice and Gradačac in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We remind you that, dissatisfied with the CIK's decision not to repeat the elections in their entirety, the initiative "My Address Srebrenica" and candidates from pro-Bosnian lists decided on Monday to boycott the repeated elections.
