(Patria) - Photographer Boris Trogrančić captured fantastic views of the jewel of Bosnia and Herzegovina - the artificial accumulation Ramsko Lake, built in 1968 on the Rama River.
The lake, with a maximum depth of 95 meters, stretches for 12 kilometers and is located near Blidinje Nature Park, or immediately next to Prozor.
So, approximately 70 kilometers north of Mostar or 110 kilometers west of Sarajevo.
Boris tells Punkufer.hr that he found a considerable number of foreign tourists in the vicinity of the lake, mostly in camps and on beaches.
He points out that the ambiance and the scent of vegetation made him feel like he was by the sea for a moment.
This accumulation lake is often ranked among the most beautiful lakes in Europe.
The surroundings of the lake are ideal for excursionists and camping, and the rich gastronomic offer is also delightful.
Ramsko Lake is special because of its numerous islands and peninsulas, the most famous being Šćit.
On this peninsula is the Franciscan monastery Rama-Šćit, built in the 15th century, which also houses an ethnographic museum.
