A wonderful Eid story from Željezo Polje: They gifted their imam a car

(Patria) - Zuhdija ef. Ridžal received a car as a gift, a token of appreciation from the Balačići community for his retirement.

This Eid will be deeply remembered by the residents of the Balačići community for the farewell of efendija Zuhdija Ridžal into retirement.

The residents of Balačići have been working diligently in secret for the past few months to collect funds for the efendija and present him with a car as a small token of appreciation for all that he has done for this community, for the generations of people he has guided onto the right path as people and faithful Muslims, and they are all immensely grateful to him.

Hodža Zuhdija could not have imagined what they had prepared for him today, and he bid farewell to today's Eid prayer, his last as an efendija, with great emotion.

This initiative lasted about four months, and the residents, through their joint efforts, collected around 14,000 KM.

In his career, Efendija Zuhdija has seen two classes graduate from the madrasa, hundreds of educated young people, and was declared the best muallim in the 2003/2004 academic year by the Riyaset of the Islamic Community in BiH, and the Riyaset of the Islamic Community also provided him with a trip to Hajj.

His neighbours showed how much they value and love him with this wonderful gesture.
