Distributors will not raise the price of gas for households

BiH, (Patria) – Importers can import liquefied petroleum gas into Bosnia and Herzegovina without calculating and paying additional road tolls if they will sell it directly to end-users, it was concluded after a meeting between representatives of the BiH Gas Association and the Indirect Taxation Authority.

In this way, importers and traders should not increase the price of bottled gas for domestic use after the introduction of excise taxes.

Upon import, the importer must submit a declaration stating that the declared liquefied petroleum gas is not intended for motor vehicle fuel, i.e., it is not intended for further sale, except for direct sale to the end customer or sale through distributors to end-users for purposes that exclude motor vehicle fuel.
