Disciplinary prosecutors to review proceedings in the case against Milorad Dodik

(Patria) - Disciplinary prosecutors will review the proceedings in the case against RS President Milorad Dodik, who is suspected of the criminal offense of "attack on the constitutional order," it has been confirmed for Detektor from the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) of BiH.

Dodik voluntarily reported to the BiH Prosecutor's Office on Friday, accompanied by his lawyer, to be questioned as a suspect for attacking the constitutional order. Subsequently, the one-month detention previously imposed on him for failing to respond to a summons was lifted, as announced on Friday in a joint statement by the state Prosecutor's Office and Court.

Following numerous reactions and criticisms of the state Prosecutor's Office and Court for this decision, and demands to investigate the disciplinary responsibility of the prosecutor and judge, the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor confirmed to Detektor that, within its jurisdiction, it will review the allegations regarding the hearing held in the court, or rather, prosecutorial case.

The heads of the three state judicial organizations today refused requests for interviews on this topic.

The President of the HJPC of BiH, Sanin Bogunić, will provide answers to media questions during the two-day HJPC session on Wednesday and Thursday, as he is visiting judicial institutions today and tomorrow, the HJPC stated.

Chief State Prosecutor Milanko Kajganić and the President of the BiH Court did not respond to Detektor's calls and messages.

To Detektor's official email inquiries for interview requests with Bogunić, Kajganić, and Kreho, the BiH Court stated that they do not comment on cases pending before this court, and the Prosecutor's Office also refused an interview.
