Touching scenes at Sarajevo Airport: Four BiH citizens return from Gaza

(Patria) - Four BiH citizens from Gaza arrived in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the evening hours.

They are a doctor and a mother with two children, and they were welcomed by their families at Sarajevo International Airport. Truly touching scenes...

Their arrival was announced earlier today by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH, Elmedin Konaković, who said there were certain problems. As he explained, they had previously been granted entry and stay, but they could not leave Gaza on time.

"The crisis staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of BiH has not stopped working for a single moment since its establishment.

Tonight, we are happy because we welcomed four more of our citizens and relatives at Sarajevo Airport who managed to leave Gaza.

Evacuation is a complex and sensitive process involving many parties. Each party in this process has given and continues to give their maximum selflessly," announced the MFA of BiH on X, expressing gratitude to the Council of Ministers of BiH, international partners, and ambassadors.
