Director of the Sarajevo Health Insurance Fund has four official phones and three tablets

(Patria) - The Director of the Sarajevo Canton Health Insurance Fund has four official phones and three tablets.

Samir Turković, who was appointed Director of the HIF in Sarajevo in May 2016 as a proposal from the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), has an Apple iPhone 7, an Apple iPhone 7 Plus, a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, and a Huawei Mate 6 DS mobile phone, two Stylistic tablets, and one Apple iPad Cellular tablet registered in his name. This is stated in the Fund's report on official equipment assigned to employees.

Two years ago, Turković also made headlines due to his official phone bills. Media reported that the Health Insurance Fund allocates 2,000 KM per month for Turković's mobile phone usage costs. This is far above the amount allocated for phones by the Prime Minister or a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
