Director Seka also erased every trace of Abdulah and Bakir Nakaš from the General Hospital website

On the official website of the General Hospital “Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakaš” Sarajevo, there is not a single photograph of Dr. Abdulah Nakaš. Also, there is no photograph or text related to the name of Dr. Bakir Nakaš, who led this healthcare institution for 21 years, reports the Patria news agency.

Instead, on the homepage of the hospital's portal (www.obs.ba), for some time now, there has been a photograph of Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić and former director Sebija Izetbegović with an announcement of a video feature about his "personal" donation, as well as two large photographs showing Dr. Izetbegović with employees.

All those who know nothing about this hospital, when they enter the website, will receive information only from the moment Dr. Izetbegović took the helm.  

About the hospital before her arrival, there is not a single sentence, no trace of history, the war, or dozens of photographs from the most difficult war period. Nowhere is it mentioned that the General Hospital is a recipient of two Šestoaprilske awards from the City of Sarajevo.

It is evident that the current director of UKCS, and until recently of the General Hospital, wanted in every possible way to erase every trace and memory of Drs. Abdulah and Bakir Nakaš, as well as all other doctors and medical and non-medical staff who worked in this hospital before her arrival.

If you type the names of Abdulah or Bakir Nakaš into the search engine, the result of found texts or images will be “0”. As a reminder, Dr. Izetbegović removed all war photographs and any trace that would remind of Dr. Abdulah Nakaš, after whom this healthcare institution is named today, from the hospital lobby immediately upon taking office. 

It is indicative that even after her departure from the director position, the current management led by acting Dr. Sead Bašić has not changed the appearance of the page, i.e., restored all the data, texts, and images that testify to a heroic time of doctors of the then Military Hospital, as well as the post-war period while Dr. Bakir Nakaš was at its helm. It is obvious that Director Izetbegović left her loyal people in the General Hospital, whom she still manages remotely.
