Director of the BiH Service for Foreigners' Affairs Visits State Investigation and Protection Agency

(Patria) - The Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), Darko Ćulum, met with the Director of the Service for Foreigners' Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Service), Žarko Laketa.

An Agreement on Electronic Data Exchange was signed at the meeting, aiming to improve cooperation and more efficient handover and timely exchange of data between the two institutions.

The Agreement provides for the mutual exchange of data obtained by SIPA and the Service while performing their duties, related to the entry, movement, and stay of foreigners in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which are significant for preventing and detecting all forms of illegal migration, smuggling and trafficking in human beings, organized crime, and all other forms of crime.

The meeting participants expressed their readiness and commitment to continue the successful cooperation to date.
