(Patria) - Around 9:30 this morning, several settlements in the area of Centar municipality were left without electricity.
As confirmed to Patria by Elektrodistribucija, teams are on the ground, and the problems are with the network of Elektroprijenos.
Given that there is also a load on the BH Telecom network, everything reminded of last year's energy collapse that occurred in BiH, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania...
From Elektrodistribucija, they could not specify when the power supply would be restored.
Some settlements have received electricity while others still have not.
Elektroprivreda BiH issued a statement:
"During the execution of works by Elektroprijenos BiH on the regular maintenance of TS 110/10 kV Sarajevo 5-Koševo, at 09:33 hours, an accident occurred in the facility, which resulted in the outage of both transformers and an interruption in the supply of customers powered from this transformer station. Specifically, about 23,200 customers in the areas of Stari Grad and Centar municipalities were left without electricity.
In order for customers to receive electricity again, the subsidiary 'Elektrodistribucija' Sarajevo, by establishing an alternative switching state, enabled the supply of a larger number of customers from other primary transformer stations.
Since Elektroprijenos BiH, in the meantime, repaired certain faults, the remaining part of the customers regularly received electricity.
Upon completion of the works, all customers currently on alternative supply will be returned to regular supply. During this period, short-term interruptions can be expected," the statement said.
