Indictment filed in "Bosnalijek" case: State Prosecutor Enisa Adrović receives protection after car sabotage

(Patria) - State Prosecutor Enisa Adrović has received security protection after her safety was jeopardized, confirmed for Patria from the BiH Prosecutor's Office.

"We can confirm that the information is correct, the prosecutor has received security protection after her safety was jeopardized," said Boris Grubešić, spokesperson for the BiH Prosecutor's Office.

Sabotage was carried out on her car, after which security services assessed that her safety was endangered. She is the prosecutor who filed an indictment against Nedim Uzunović, ten other individuals, and four legal entities for damaging the company Bosnalijek and acquiring illegal property benefits of 10.8 million KM. Uzunović was recently dismissed from the head of the Bosnalijek company.

Who is Enisa Adrović

Enisa Adrović was born on 02/29/1964 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
She graduated from the Faculty of Law in Sarajevo in 1991, and passed the bar exam in 2000. She began her professional career as a judicial intern and associate at the Cantonal Court in Zenica in 1997.

From 2000 to 2001, she worked as a judge at the Municipal Misdemeanor Court in Kiseljak, after which she was appointed judge of the Municipal Court in Breza, where she worked until 2004.

Since 2004, she has held the position of prosecutor at the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Zenica-Doboj Canton in Department I, which deals with the prosecution of criminal offenses against humanity and values protected by international law.

She was elected a member of the HJPC BiH by the prosecutors of the cantonal prosecutor's offices of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on 05/07/2008. Within her mandate, she served as the Vice-President of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH. As Vice-President of the HJPC BiH, she participated in numerous professional conferences and worked on all major projects related to judicial reform, including chairing the Public Policy Forum, the Working Group for the Implementation of the Prosecutor's Office Model Initiative and the Establishment of the Prosecutor's Standards Matrix for the BiH Prosecutor's Office Model, the Steering Committee of the project "Support to the Judiciary in Bosnia and Herzegovina - Strengthening the Role of Prosecutors in the Criminal Justice System," and many others.

She was appointed prosecutor of the BiH Prosecutor's Office by decision of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina on 07/19/2013.

She has been a member of the Association of Prosecutors of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2004, and a member of the Association of Prosecutors of BiH since 2010. She is a member of the International Association of Criminal Lawyers, within which she published a paper in the IAK Proceedings in 2009 titled "Prison Management Strategy in the Fight Against Corruption."
