Dianne Reeves on November 7 at Sarajevo's BKC

Jazz diva Dianne Reeves won over the audience at the opening of the Sarajevo Jazz Fest in 2008, and the Sarajevo public will see her again on November 7 when she performs at the Bosnian Cultural Centre, Patria reports.

Unique vocal artistry, exceptional charisma and captivating energy are the traits of this artist, who will present her current project Beautiful Life as part of the 18th Jazz Fest.

Reeves has recorded twenty solo albums in her career so far, and after a five-year recording hiatus, she releases the new album Beautiful Life for Concord Records, for which she also recorded the soundtrack for George Clooney's Oscar-nominated film Good Night, and Good Luck.

Dianne Reeves is one of the most significant contemporary singers and a four-time Grammy Award winner for Best Vocal Performance, and she is currently the only artist to have won this prestigious award for four consecutive albums: In The Moment (2001), The Calling: Celebrating Sarah Vaughan (2002), A Little Moonlight (2004), and the aforementioned Good Night, and Good Luck (2006).

After more than three decades of a successful career, Reeves concludes that life is beautiful, and on the release Beautiful Life she performs timeless numbers by Marvin Gaye, Bob Marley and Ani DiFranco, as well as two new, original compositions that celebrate life in its entirety, with every sorrow and joy.
