DF: If they decide on blockades, the EU must withdraw financial aid to the authorities in RS

The Democratic Front considers the SNSD's announcement of blocking decision-making at the state level as a desperate protest by Milorad Dodik's policy, which cannot come to terms with the fact that decisions of the Constitutional Court must be respected as the fundamental principle of the rule of law. Dodik and SNSD will not intimidate anyone with bluffs and alleged withdrawals from the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, nor with blocking decision-making at the state level, which is an integral part of SNSD's political activity in general.

"Blocking decision-making at the state level will bring nothing good to anyone in RS. This only slows down the possibility of implementing reforms on the European path, and the SNSD is exposed as the main brake on the European path.

However, we in the DF believe that if the SNSD decides on any blockades regarding decision-making at the state level, which would slow down reform processes and sabotage the European perspective, then the European Union must immediately withdraw any form of financial support to the authorities of the smaller Republika Srpska. After such a move, it has become clear to European and world actors that some kind of 'creeping coup' is underway and that this time it is more than obvious that Milorad Dodik does not see Bosnia and Herzegovina as a stable country," the DF announced.
