DF in TK expects SDP to end cooperation with PDA after sanctions against Kukić

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Democratic Front caucus in the Tuzla Canton Assembly welcomed the sanctions imposed by the United States of America against Milorad Dodik, Mirsad Kukić and Milan Tegeltija.

"We call on the TK Government and ministers in the TK Government to submit their irrevocable resignations after the leading figure of the ruling coalition SDP, PDA, NS, SBB and HDZ in TK, Mr. Mirsad Kukić (PDA), was placed on the State Department's blacklist," stated the DF.

The Democratic Front caucus agrees with the assessment of the US Ambassador to BiH that Mirsad Kukić represents an existential threat to the sovereignty of BiH, given the observed scale of crime and corruption produced by Kukić.

"We believe that the actions of the current TK Government, composed of PDA, SBB, SDP and the so-called Our Party, threaten the rule of law and kill public faith in democratic institutions of power and the prosperity of the citizens of Tuzla Canton.

We call on the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina (SDP) to, in accordance with the current situation, terminate all coalition and other political relations with Mirsad Kukić and his long-term partners from SBB, as well as to form a new parliamentary majority that will not be burdened by individuals on the State Department's blacklist," reads the reaction from the DF, signed by Mahir Mešalić, President of the DF caucus in the Tuzla Canton Assembly.
