DF claims: We did not offer SDA to stay in the FBiH Government, our ministers are being held hostage

The Democratic Front denies allegations that appeared in the media, which were presented by Amer Jerlagić, president of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina, that through him the DF offered the Party of Democratic Action to remain in the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to a DF statement, as reported by the Patria news agency.

- The general public is aware that the Democratic Front presents its positions very directly and openly through the media and to party leaders face to face, which causes discomfort for certain political entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as they have accustomed the public to behind-the-scenes games and empty political rhetoric for more than two decades.

The Democratic Front has repeatedly reiterated its demands to the President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to dismiss our ministers in the FBiH Government who, in accordance with the law, submitted their resignations from their positions.

Even at this moment, when a coalition of SDA-SBB-HDZ has been agreed upon at the Federation level, for completely incomprehensible and again entirely behind-the-scenes reasons, the resignations of two ministers have not been signed, raising the question of trust in the new coalition relations when, despite the party and personal decision of the DF ministers, they are being kept as hostages in the FBiH Government.

The public knows that we do not need any intermediaries in communication, and such announcements serve solely to divert attention from the futile and unlawful actions of the majority of ministers in the FBiH Government, which the Democratic Front could not tolerate. We speak our word clearly and do not break our promise to our voters, unlike some political parties that, through political acrobatics, are capable of trampling both their word and their own honor, the DF stated.
