DF: The Troika helped Zagreb and Schmidt in rejecting Kovačević's request, citizens will judge this

(Patria) - The Democratic Front has issued a statement expressing regret over the fact that the European Court of Human Rights ultimately rejected Slaven Kovačević's request.

"In this regard, we want to remind that Kovačević was denied support from the representatives of the current government in Bosnia and Herzegovina in his case.

Namely, it is common knowledge that the representatives of the Council of Ministers of BiH, both those from the HDZ and those from the Troika, were actively engaged on the opposing side, not on the side of Kovačević as a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which the public had the opportunity to witness during the hearing held before the European Court of Human Rights.

On the other hand, although representatives of the Republic of Croatia were present during the hearing, the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Strasbourg, appointed at the suggestion of the Troika, i.e., Denis Bećirović, did not even deign to attend.

All of this greatly demonstrated the Troika's attitude towards this case. The Troika was the one that helped official Zagreb and Christian Schmidt in rejecting Kovačević's request, which once again showed the nature of that political alliance.

In the current circumstances, the Democratic Front, led by President Komšić, provided unconditional support to Kovačević in the fight for equal rights for all citizens before the Constitution and the law.

The Democratic Front will continue to fight for the same idea, until the final victory over the traitors of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its enemies. We are convinced that citizens will give their clear and direct judgment on all of this at the first opportunity," the statement said.
