DF: Everything happening now on the political scene proves we were right

The latest developments on our political scene confirm that the Democratic Front made the right moves when it comes to our participation in government, the Democratic Front announced, as reported by the Patria news agency.  .

- We entered the "game," the coalition accepted, with our two basic conditions: The first is - work according to the law. If the laws are not good, they should be changed, and until then, respect the existing ones. The second condition was that all appointments be based on the principle of expertise and competence, not party affiliation.

Since neither of these two principles was respected - the DF's exit from that "circle" was entirely logical.

We are aware that this move of ours confused part of the DF membership and sympathizers, but after everything that followed our exit from the executive branch, including the latest events related to the leader of the SBB, it is crystal clear to our supporters that we were right!

What does the thesis of the current government mean, according to which someone is turning things back "just when we were getting going"?

What was getting going? In what way does any citizen of this country feel that improvement? In fact, the race and grab for director's chairs and memberships in supervisory boards of companies and systems continued, and the rush is such that these appointments are being made even through the already infamous "telephone sessions of the Government"! "Dismount Kurta so Murta can mount!"

What does the thesis that a "coup d'état" is underway mean? Who stands behind it, who hit whom, who stepped on whose toes, and who knows what about whom? Do not frighten the people. Surely the opposition is not the one pulling the strings in these party-personal-clan clashes?

And finally, the story about the Application for EU membership. There, too, just when we were promised that we could apply at the beginning of February, "and we are turning things back!"

What Application? What have we fulfilled from the foreseen conditions? What about the coordination process, the reform of this same judicial system, the functioning of public services? Nothing. And no one is stopping us from applying; we will get our turn when we meet the conditions, that should be clear. The only thing that would stand in the political CV of the current member of the Presidency from the Croatian people is that he is the first BiH leader to submit an application for BiH's membership in the EU!

As far as the Democratic Front is concerned, we continue to check the rating in the base, we are recording more and more new members joining us, and we promise that we will not deviate from our principled positions. Never!, states the DF announcement.
