DF: All decisions are made by party bodies, not by any individual

After being repeatedly subjected to a media witch-hunt by individuals, we are forced to react. Individuals gathered around the table of the former SDP president popularly called “Professor”, who, as is evident from everything, still runs a party that has obviously not yet transformed from a racketeering and blackmailing organization into a modern political party, think they can still influence political processes in BiH, the Democratic Front stated, Patria reports.

It is high time we demystify a heap of false allegations and information being circulated, among others, by failed journalists known for a conviction for stealing shoes from Tuzla shoe stores, as well as for the lavish use of budget funds of the city of Tuzla.

As unbelievable as it may sound to all individuals gathered around the “Professor”, decisions in the Democratic Front are made by DF bodies, from the local organization to the party Presidency, and not by any individual, no matter what his name is. Thus, it was also the decision of the bodies that the DF in Tuzla would support any SDP candidate for mayor of Tuzla, provided his name is not Jasmin Imamović or Enver Bijedić, and this was communicated to the SDP negotiating team for the first time in July.

It is clear to us that the SDP leadership has been trained for years, with honorable exceptions, to massively repeat and act as the “Professor” thinks and orders, so in negotiations with the DF they proposed disciplining our membership and unconditionally accepting their candidates. We must repeat to them again, that was not possible then, nor will it be now!

The DF is a party created as a response to blind racketeering, crime and servile behavior within the SDP, which led them to electoral collapse in 2014. It is sad that certain circles are still not ready to accept that their time has passed and that the citizens of BiH have sent them into political history. Even sadder and more pathetic is the fact that those who try with all their might to show they have reformed still act as a small interest group orders them. It is sad that certain candidates in these elections as well do not accept the fact that their time for political history has also come, and that their false concern for social democracy is just a cover for sick ambitions of lifelong rule passed on to them by their beloved “Professor”.

Remember, those we are fighting against are SDA, SBB, HDZ, but also those who hide behind concern for social democracy, talk about uniting the left, but in fact fight to protect the racketeering and mafia interests of individuals. It would be much better for them if, for example, they acted on the proposal of one of their MPs who says it is necessary to introduce mandatory medical examinations for all those holding political office. Let their candidates undergo those examinations now, for example, let the SDP candidate for mayor of Tuzla start and prove to all citizens that he is medically, physically and mentally fit to manage the city for two decades. We are ready for all our candidates, and not only them but also all other party officials, to immediately submit not only medical documentation but also asset declarations. Are you ready for that?

The unification of the left is a process that must happen, but it will involve parties that fight through deeds for the ideals of the left, not through programmatic acts or statutory provisions. Our desire is for this process to start in Tuzla, where there are a number of parties that truly live this idea. Only in this way can we oppose the resurrected and criminal nationalists who, after robbing us, are trying to divide our country. As long as we exist, we will not allow that!
