DF Sarajevo: The "Trojka" Government should resign, the departure of Minister of Insecurity Katica is the first step

(Patria) - Regarding the murder that occurred this afternoon on Vilsonovo šetalište, the DF Cantonal Board at tonight's session decided to urgently submit a request for the dismissal of the Minister of Internal Affairs of KS, Admir Katica, due to the new escalation of armed conflicts and murders in Sarajevo.

"The Democratic Front has been warning for months about the disturbed security situation in Sarajevo, where armed conflicts, grenade attacks, and murders have become commonplace. The security situation is no longer disturbed, because security in Sarajevo no longer exists.

The behavior of the "Trojka" government in Sarajevo is shameful and dangerous for citizens, as it refuses to accept that we live in an unsafe city, let alone start addressing this problem.

We live in a city where it has become normal to witness an attempted murder in a crowded hotel garden in the city center, and then hear silence from the KS Government.

It is obvious that Minister Admir Katica, as well as the entire Government of Sarajevo Canton, lack the capacity to deal with armed gangs and individuals, and drug cartels, and are even emboldening them through their behavior and inaction.

Such a Government of Sarajevo Canton should submit a collective resignation, but the least that can be done, as a first step, is the departure of the Minister of Insecurity, Admir Katica," stated the Democratic Front.
