DF presented candidates in Tuzla Canton

In the premises of the DF Tuzla Regional Board, the Democratic Front's candidates for the positions of mayor and heads of lists for municipal/city councils in the Tuzla Canton were presented.

In his introductory address, DF TK Cantonal Commissioner Jasmin Kadić emphasized that DF is participating in the local elections for the first time and expects a good electoral result that will guarantee significant participation of the Democratic Front in all municipal councils.

All municipal/city organizations will present their programs in the pre-election campaign, which will include problems as well as concrete solutions for specific local communities in the TK region.

-The decision to run independently in these elections is an expression of our readiness for fundamental changes, the drivers of which must be new, uncompromised people whose need for change and resolution of accumulated problems is identical to the needs and thinking of every normal citizen.

We will insist on a systemic solution to problems, rejecting any political action based on political bargaining, the policy of not offending, and sycophancy – Kadić stated.

The candidate for the mayor of Tuzla, Alen Gadžo, also addressed the audience, emphasizing that the citizens of Tuzla need to have their dignity and right to decide restored.

- Two political parties want to conquer Tuzla, and the other is like a defense against them. The city of Tuzla does not belong to any political party. This city will not be ruled by interest groups as it is today, nor will it be ruled by criminal policies that have ruined Tuzla Canton, the Federation of BiH, and even the state. I hope that, in cooperation with the citizens of Tuzla, we will not allow them to do so. The citizens of Tuzla must regain their dignity. All city resources belong to its citizens. It is an honor for me to represent a political party that is not burdened by the past. That does not have implicated individuals and bad moral tails in its past. With a serious team of people, we intend to do everything in cooperation with the citizens to bring prosperity to our city – Gadžo said.

In his address, he warned about the criminal management of the TK Government and the Tuzla City Administration, adding:

- They have made us hostages, they have privatized city institutions and resources. I submitted certain documentation a long time ago to law enforcement agencies, the cantonal, federal, and state prosecutor's offices. I know very well who is protecting individuals from the Tuzla City Administration. There will be no economic development if we do not first deal with organized crime and corruption. I am the only minister to whom citizens and workers have come and given their support. My integrity cannot be bought – Gadžo added.

At the press conference, addresses were also given by Prof. Dr. Izudin Kešetović, candidate for mayor of Srebrenik municipality, Prof. Dr. Edin Delić, candidate for mayor of Lukavac municipality, Maida Avdić, candidate for mayor of Gradačac municipality, and Senad Kadić, candidate for mayor of Gračanica municipality.

The heads of lists for individual municipalities are: Dževdeta Mujović Mujkić (Doboj Istok), Alen Mujić (Gračanica), Amir Jakeščić (Gradačac), Edin Jusufagić (Kalesija), Fuad Selimbašić (Kladanj), Emir Imamović (Lukavac), Edin Hasić (Srebrenik), Nedim Salibegović (Tuzla), Nirmal Kukić (Živinice).
