DF candidates presented program to improve Ilidža

Democratic Front (DF) last night presented its candidate for mayor of Ilidža municipality, as well as candidates for the Municipal Council, in the upcoming Local Elections in BiH on October 2nd, writes NAP.

In a packed hall of the community center on Dobrinjska Street, the DF candidate who will run for the position of mayor in this Sarajevo municipality, Edin Tursunović, presented the citizens with a program on how he plans to improve life in Ilidža. First and foremost, he said, he wants to help socially vulnerable residents of Ilidža.

- If the citizens give me their votes, I will not be the mayor, but a servant of the citizens – said Tursunović.

Young candidates for the Municipal Council spoke about local problems from their communities and their vision for how they plan to solve these problems.

- We are not politicians. We are people from the nation. And we will work for the nation – the candidates stated.

DF candidates called on young people to take the Local Elections seriously and to go out and vote on October 2nd, writes NAP.
