DF Novi Grad: Kovačević offered citizens a refreshment from political stagnation

The Municipal organization of the Democratic Front Novi Grad presented candidate doc. dr. Goran Kovačević for the Mayor of Novi Grad Municipality, as well as candidates for the Municipal Council of Novi Grad in Dobrinja, at Trg grada Prato (the pool in Dobrinja), reports the Patria News Agency.

This location is symbolic because, at this very spot, the current mayor promised the citizens of Novi Grad four years ago that he would build a Sports Center with a swimming pool, but it is still just a meadow. As the DF stated, they do not want to be remembered in such a way, because they will fulfill their promises.

- This was one of the important strongholds in the previous campaign of the current mayor. It was promised that a sports center with a swimming pool would be built at this location here in Dobrinja, and you can see for yourselves what stage it is in. We do not want to leave what we promise in such a state – said Kovačević.

The DF candidate for the Mayor of Novi Grad also presented part of the election program of the Democratic Front Novi Grad, and the gathering was attended by Democratic Front candidates for the Municipal Council Novi Grad, as well as high-ranking DF officials, candidates from other municipalities, citizens, and DF sympathizers.

- As we all know, the Democratic Front is a healthy political option and a new political option that did not have the opportunity to participate in the Local Elections before. Our program is a refreshment compared to this political stagnation, and we will certainly have a positive approach in our political activities during the campaign and act morally in relation to politics, the citizens of Novi Grad, and we will certainly treat other candidates with respect. We will not respond to the malice that has already started towards us in that way – emphasized Kovačević.

The candidate of the Democratic Front (DF) for the mayor of the Sarajevo municipality of Novi Grad in the local elections in BiH on October 2nd, Goran Kovačević, announced that the left will once again take the mayoral position in the most populous municipality in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This international expert in the field of security and international relations said, during the official opening of the election campaign, that he will first and foremost restore security to the citizens of Novi Grad, which is needed more now than ever, and that in such an environment, it will be much easier to develop the economy of the local community.

His political program is supported by a large number of people, especially young people.
