The Democratic Front of Tuzla Canton demands the urgent arrival of the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fadil Novalić, and the Prime Minister of Tuzla Canton, Bego Gutić, at the "Konjuh" factory premises in Živinice, and an urgent session of the Tuzla Canton Assembly!
Namely, the workers of "Konjuh" have been on a hunger strike for the fourth day due to unlinked pension contributions amounting to approximately 160,000 convertible marks. While the authorities in Tuzla Canton are spending budget money on purchasing new vehicles, the workers of the "Konjuh" factory are only asking for a dignified departure into a well-deserved retirement.
Due to all of the above, as well as the alarming situation, we urgently demand that the Tuzla Canton Assembly, the Prime Minister of Tuzla Canton, and the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina get involved in resolving this issue before the situation becomes unbearable for the workers, and the lives and health of the "Konjuh" factory workers are endangered.
The game of jurisdiction and shifting responsibility between the Prime Minister of the Tuzla Canton Government, Bego Gutić, and the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fadil Novalić, does not help in resolving this problem!
