DF will not participate in negotiations with Dodik

The Democratic Front will not participate in any negotiations with Milorad Dodik, and the political pyromaniacs who support him, regarding judicial institutions in BiH. Regardless of the fact that the BiH Prosecutor's Office is under the partial control of SDA stooges, we will never allow issues within the jurisdiction of the BiH Parliament to be decided by illegal referendums at the entity level, reports the Patria News Agency.

If they believe there are problems with judicial institutions in BiH, we invite SNSD to resolve them in the BiH Parliament. There are constitutionally defined procedures for changing laws, and any attempts by representatives of the international community to violate them through extra-institutional negotiations with Milorad Dodik will have an uncompromising opponent in the Democratic Front.

Representatives of the international community, especially the EU, must bear in mind that they must not fall into the trap of Dodik's nonsensical threats of an illegal referendum again. SNSD's goal is not to actually implement the insane plan for a referendum, because they are aware that by doing so, they are jeopardizing the Dayton Peace Agreement and, consequently, the existence of Republika Srpska as an entity.

Dodik's main goal is to open multi-month negotiations with EU representatives that would allow him to remove the catastrophic economic situation in RS and the rest of BiH from the agenda. Therefore, we invite representatives of the international community, if they wish to protect the Dayton Peace Agreement of 1995, to react in accordance with the obligations arising from it, according to the statement of the Democratic Front.
