DF: Criminal charges against Jašarević and Džananović

TUZLA, (Patria) - The Provisional Committee of the City Board of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Tuzla includes, among others, the General Director of Elektroprivreda Bosne i Hercegovine Bajazit Jašarević, and the Director of the Tuzla Thermal Power Plant Izet Džananović, writes the Patria agency.

The City Board of the Democratic Front Tuzla warned that the appointment of Jašarević and Džananović to the SDA Provisional Committee is illegal, and that they will file criminal charges against them if they do not resign from public companies.
The DF refers to Article 12 of the Law on Public Enterprises in the Federation, which states that "Persons holding positions in political parties cannot be appointed to management."

"Moreover, when applying for the position of General Director of Elektroprivreda and Director of the Thermal Power Plant, Jašarević and Džananović had to submit certified statements that they do not hold any party positions," the DF reminds.

The City Board of the Democratic Front Tuzla expects the resignations of Jašarević and Džananović from their management positions in public companies. If this does not happen, they intend to file criminal charges against the proposers, the decision-makers on the appointment of the aforementioned persons to party positions, as well as against the managers in public enterprises and public institutions who simultaneously hold party positions in the Provisional Committee of the SDA City Board Tuzla.
